I’m stubborn. I like to think our websites are built already optimized for all the search engines. We build in keywords and alt tags. We register your site with Google and Yahoo. We come along side you and help you use the tools the WordPress website provides at the stroke of a key. You are the master of your content. We liked it that way. It allows us to focus on the psychology of your website: what people see and how they interact with it.

But that’s not enough! We’re getting a lot of requests for more services. Namely: Search Engine Optimization.

“You’ve built a great site! We love it, and our clients are raving about it! But, we want to reach more people. How can we do that?”

So we’re growing the company. We’re adding Search Engine Optimization as a full-time product.

“You’ve always advertised that you offer SEO. What gives?”

Sure, we do SEO. We love going it for select projects. On a need to use basis. But now, we’re adding more packages. We’re keeping the 10-Day site and the Custom site, but we’re adding a 10-Day SEO and a Custom SEO. You’ll get the same AWESOME website, but we’ll add in a monthly optimization service that fits your needs and wishes. We’ll even have different SEO tiers, based on your budget.

Call me TODAY to set up and appointment to meet with us. It takes about an hour to go over everything, but that hour is free.

I look forward to this new adventure, so we’re offering a special introductory rate to our first 20 SEO clients!

Keep you eyes open for more announcements regarding SEM, SSM, and SEO!

Your website is your best marketing tool. Think of it as a tradesman thinks of his toolbox. It’s the first thing his customers see.

When the electrician comes to your house to add that switch to your breaker box for your new shed out back, you don’t see the inside of his truck. You don’t see his workshop where he keeps 90% of his inventory of wires, switches, and widgets. You just see a man and his tools. Right there. Ready to go.

When your customers go to your site, they see you. Right there. Ready to serve their every whim.

Now, here’s where the metaphor breaks down: the tradesman will never let you rifle through his toolbox, truck, or shed. But your website? People need to know where to look to find what they are looking for. Instinctively. Intuitively. Automagically.

Make the links, buttons, content right where they ought to be. There’s a reason and a rhyme for everything on your home page.

Website development and design has come a long way in the past couple years. What used to be a daunting programming nightmare for the regular Joe, is now a relative breeze.

But don’t be fooled by “easy”.

I’m not here to say that you “need” people like me in order to have a website. You can easily buy a theme or template and get what you think you need up in a relatively short amount of time with very little headache. It’s really just like any trade-based service. Plumbers, electricians, handymen of all kinds, compete with the Do-It-Yourself-er every day of the week.

The reason guys like me stay in business as long as we have is because we have the tools and the experience to do what we know you can do on your own and do it quickly and without any doubt that it was done right. We know, like any good tradesman, that our work and experience are what you’re hiring. It’s not the ability to actually hook up the dishwasher you’re looking for. We’re sure with a quick trip to Google and a little clicking around, you can hook it up yourself. We just save you the hassle. And we also know a few trade secrets that you either can’t find on Google, or that you don’t really know how to accomplish on your own.

Programmers like me have been programming, designing, and developing all kinds of websites for nearly the lifespan of the website (since 1998, if you’re wondering). I know not only how to build a website, but I now how to to build a website that gets found. It meets and exceeds code requirements. Search engines know how to find it and index it (add it to their list of relevant sites). I know what you really need and have a good idea how to make that happen with very little headache, of any at all.

Take a look at my portfolio and let me know when you would like to start over, or just start, your website project. I’ll meet with you, tool belt ready.

In Burgaw, North Carolina, there’s a company that makes pork rinds. Pork rinds are fried pig skins. People eat them. I never in a million years thought I would be one of those people until I met Wes Blake. He gave me the tour of his gigantic facility and I, dressed in a white Tyvek suit, was introduced to pork rinds, pork crackling, and seasoning testing.

This project is the by-product of that tour. You get to see everything they make and sell. Soon, very soon, you’ll be able to order their product, in bulk, online. Until then, I’ve set up the custom WordPress theme to display the store items without actually adding them to a cart. It’s pretty need. I guess you’d say it’s a cracklin ready to be popped.

by: Branford Clark

Life may have clouds, but when I think of Jesus
The sun breaks thro’ its radiance to outpour
And far away I hear the song of angels
Singing, singing, singing on yonder shore.

There is a cross that every one must carry
Long a thorned path whose toils will soon be o’er
Then at His feet shall we lay down our burdens
With the fair immortals on yonder shore.

While trav’ling on to that eternal haven
Here in the heart can be fair Canaan’s door
Thro’ which the love of Jesus softly stealing
Fills the soul with glory from yonder shore.

There is a death, but it is only mortal
The soul lives on and on for evermore.
How wonderful to dwell for aye with Jesus
Ever and forever on yonder shore.

Chorus
Singing on that shore
Singing on that shore
Hark, I hear them singing
Singing, ever, singing on yonder shore.

I love hand me down projects. This was the perfect example of what a perfect baton pass should look like.

David needed a new developer to take over his site and the original developer needed to unload it. Since then, the site’s Google SER has surpassed all expectations and it now number one for exactly what David James needed. “Wilmington Builder” was purchased to draw traffic to local high end homeowners looking for a like-minded builder.

In the process, I redesigned the site and reprogrammed some of the functionality to offer his contractors and customers a more suer-friendly experience.
