The process of designing your brand, developing your website, and coming up with all the content to flash it out can be daunting. At least, it should seem that way to you. Until you come see me.
You see, I start from the beginning. I listen to your vision. I take notes. Your vision should be the guiding light, so to speak, of the project. I’m just the guy making it real. Building for you the tools needed to make that vision real.
We’ll start with that first meeting. I’ll talk to you about your budget, how to maybe put a little more into that budget. This is your baby. Your biggest sales tool.
What are your goals? If you just want a starter site that will still put your best foot forward in this crazy competitive market, we can do that.
If you want to press forward and really build something together that will help to ensure your success in your field, then we can most definitely do that.
From that first meeting, I’ll give you a pretty good idea of how much all this is going to cost. The up front, one-time fees, the monthly fees, and the annual fees.
There’s nothing hidden. No sneaky surcharges. Only a good price based on a good work scope. If we add anything, we’ll go over the costs right then and there. No surprises.
Next, if I’m doing a website for you, we’ll come up with what we in the game call a “Wireframe.” This puts everything on paper. Where things go. How the site will be laid out. How it will function. We’ll work together on this one. Content, the menu bar, where things go on the home page and what it looks like when you click something.
No colors. No aesthetic design. Only the flat plans.
After I’m done with the Wireframe and you’ve approved it, I’ll get started on the design of the home page. It’s really all about psychology. Getting into the heads of your customers. I’ll make the User Interface (UI) friendly, inviting, and most importantly, intuitive.
After the home page is completed and you’ve approved that, which is in about a week, I’ll get working on your content pages. I’ll be working with either content you’ve provided or with “placement” content. I’ll present these to you. Once you’ve approved those, I’ll get to cracking on the programming of the website.
Depending on the scope, between 10-20 business days of the final design approval. Yes, it’s that fast.
My policy, and this has always worked for everyone involved, is 50% of the estimated, one-time fee before I begin. Then, when the design’s been approved, and you’ve submitted all the content I’ll need to get the site up and running, you have 30 days to pay the balance.
